Picnickers are welcome to bring their own chairs/tables to use outside in the gardens. Please consider having your first course before the opera as the interval is strictly one hour at the request of the singers. Opera seats in the performance marquee are available on a first-come-first-served basis, and are not allocated in advance except for members of Friends of Blackstairs Opera for whom there is a priority block of reserved seating in fronts rows. Tickets cost €80 on Friday and €90 on Saturday. Friends subscription is €50 per person. A limited amount of table seating is available in The Ballroom (€25 per person) or the Garden Picnic Marquee (€15 per person.) Prior booking for these places is essential as capacity is limited. Tickets and dining reservations are only available through St. Michaels Theater, New Ross (see below) or on-line. The Step House Hotel can provide meals for diners in The Ballroom.
